Amalgam’s Recycling Displays is pledging to help more local authorities and schools spread the message about recycling and re-use – by offering a discounted Recycling Roadshow Kit. We’ve launched this kit to support the education programmes Councils are running, to help them meet the 2020 recycling targets. Grant Wilson from Moray Council was particularly helpful, telling us more about how they are using their information display point.
The Recycling Roadshow Kit includes three displays, which recycling teams can take on the road, to spread the word about recycling and re-using materials. After talking to our clients, we’ve re-engineered the components, so the displays can easily be used in a shopping centre, railway or bus stations, or at school events and county shows. Why use the Recycling Roadshow Kit?
- It is aimed at supporting local education efforts to reach young children right up to adults, through an interactive set of eye-catching, physical displays.
- It is designed to break down into the boot of an ordinary estate car, to save on vehicle hire.
- It can be installed within less than 60 minutes.
- And our Small Business Saturday offer price saves 10% on the cost of the individual displays.
What’s in it?
The recycling bean bag game is popular with adults and children alike, with 30 bean bags to show which items go into each of the collection bins.
The information display point is a cutaway wheelie bin, with a digital media screen inside the lid, and we print your logo on the flag, so it’s designed to attract attention in any location.
The portable materials recycling facility (MRF) is a table top interactive, showing how materials are sorted during recycling, while the recycling team explains what happens to recycled waste and how it contributes to the circular economy.
If you’re reading this, as one of the many Councils who have already bought one of our games in the Recycling Roadshow Kit, please share your feedback here – and call for a quote if you are interested in the other components. We will be happy to help.
